- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 small bunch cilantro (leaves only)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions

- Add cilantro leaves: Strip the leaves from the cilantro stems and add the leaves to the food processor with the avocado.
- Combine remaining ingredients: Add the sour cream, minced garlic, freshly squeezed lime juice, salt, and black pepper to the food processor.
- Blend until smooth: Blend all ingredients together for 1 to 2 minutes until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
- Serve immediately: Transfer the avocado crema to a serving bowl or container and enjoy it fresh as a sauce or dip.
Notes
- Use fresh lime juice for best flavor.
- If the crema is too thick, add a tablespoon of water or milk to achieve desired consistency.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; cover tightly to prevent browning.
- This crema pairs well with Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, and grilled meats.
