  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cheese Filling

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Sauté Onion and Garlic: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook onion until soft, then add garlic and cook.
  3. Cook Beef: Add ground beef, cook until browned, season with oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Add Sauce: Pour in marinara sauce, simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Prepare Cheese Filling: Mix ricotta, half of Parmesan, half of mozzarella, and parsley.
  6. Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread cheese mixture on noodles, top with meat sauce, roll up, place in baking dish.
  7. Bake: Cover with foil, bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for 10 more minutes until golden.
  8. Serve: Garnish with parsley before serving.
