For the Chicken Filling:
- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken breast

- ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 12 small flour tortillas
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and chopped cilantro for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken Filling: In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and both cheeses. Mix until evenly combined.
- Assemble the Flautas: Warm the tortillas slightly, place about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture in the center of each tortilla, and roll tightly into a flute shape. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Fry the Flautas: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, fry the flautas until golden and crispy.
- Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve hot with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and cilantro.
Notes
- You can substitute flour tortillas with corn tortillas if preferred.
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
