- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, paprika, and salt. Add the chicken pieces, coat well, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet, cook the marinated chicken until browned. Remove from skillet.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté onions, garlic, ginger, spices. Add tomato sauce, simmer, then stir in heavy cream.
- Combine and Serve: Return cooked chicken to the skillet, simmer until sauce thickens. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
