Description

These Cinnamon Roll Bites are an easy and delicious treat made with crescent roll dough, cinnamon, and brown sugar, topped with a creamy vanilla glaze. Perfectly gooey and glazed to perfection, they make delightful bite-sized snacks or breakfast treats.

Ingredients

Scale

Dough and Filling

  • 1 tube crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Glaze

  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tablespoons milk (for desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Tin: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini muffin tin to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and press the seams together carefully to create a single large rectangle.
  3. Add Butter and Cinnamon Sugar: Brush the dough evenly with melted butter, then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over the top.
  4. Roll and Slice: Roll the dough tightly starting from the short side to form a log, then cut into 1-inch pieces to create individual rolls.
  5. Arrange in Muffin Tin: Place each piece into a muffin cup with the spiral side facing up, ensuring they fit snugly but can expand.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes until the bites turn golden brown and puffed.
  7. Make the Glaze: While the bites bake, whisk together the softened cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth and creamy.
  8. Glaze and Serve: Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon roll bites and serve immediately for the best gooey texture.

Notes

  • Make sure to press the crescent roll seams tightly to prevent the filling from leaking during baking.
  • Adjust the milk quantity in the glaze to get your preferred drizzling consistency.
  • Serve warm for optimal gooey texture; these bites can be reheated briefly before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven or microwave.
