Ingredients
Scale
Fruits & Vegetables
- 2 bananas
- 5 strawberries
- 10 small grapes (or mini marshmallows)
- 1 small carrot stick, cut into small triangles
Snacks & Sweets
- 10 small pretzel sticks
- 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips
Others
- Skewers or popsicle sticks
Instructions
- Slice the fruits: Slice the bananas into 1/2-inch rounds. Remove the green tops from the strawberries and then halve the strawberries.
- Assemble the snowman body: Thread a skewer through three banana slices to form the body. Then add a piece of halved strawberry on top, followed by a grape or mini marshmallow as the head.
- Add the arms: Break pretzel sticks in half and gently press them into the center banana slice on each side to create snowman arms.
- Create facial features and buttons: Place a small carrot triangle on each snowman’s face to mimic a nose and use mini chocolate chips to form the eyes and buttons on the banana slices.
- Serve: Arrange the snowmen on a serving platter and serve immediately to enjoy the freshest texture and taste.
Notes
- Use mini marshmallows as a grape substitute for a sweeter touch.
- For best results, assemble just before serving to prevent the banana slices from browning.
- The carrot triangles mimic a classic carrot nose for a festive look.
- These snacks are naturally gluten-free if the pretzels used are gluten-free.
- Perfect for children’s holiday parties as a healthy treat option.
