Ingredients
- 1 cup salted butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup honey
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Instructions
- Beat the Butter: Use the whisk attachment on your mixer to beat the room temperature salted butter for 1 minute until creamy and smooth. You can also do this with regular beaters or a wooden spoon.
- Incorporate Sweet Ingredients: Add the powdered sugar, honey, and cinnamon to the butter. Beat on low speed until the powdered sugar is fully incorporated to avoid dust clouds, then increase to medium speed to blend everything evenly.
- Scrape and Smooth: Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl to gather any unmixed ingredients. Beat again until the butter mixture is smooth and fluffy.
- Portion into Jars: Transfer the honey cinnamon butter into 6 four-ounce mason jars, or 3 half-pint mason jars for storage and easy serving.
- Storage and Serving: Store the butter as you would typical butter—refrigerate if keeping for an extended time or keep at room temperature if you plan to use it within a couple of days. Serve at room temperature for the best spreadability and flavor.
Notes
- Allow the butter to come to room temperature before starting for an easier whipping process.
- Use good quality honey and cinnamon to enhance flavor.
- If you want a dairy-free version, substitute salted butter with a vegan butter alternative.
- Store in airtight containers to preserve freshness.
- Best served at room temperature to ensure it’s easy to spread.
