Coating
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- Combine ingredients: In a heatproof bowl, combine the white chocolate chips, heavy cream, and unsalted butter.
- Microwave melting: Microwave the mixture in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
- Add flavorings: Stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Chill mixture: Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours or until it is firm enough to scoop.
- Form truffles: Once chilled, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll each into 1-inch balls using your hands.
- Coat truffles: Roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Storage: Store the coated truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
- If the truffle mixture is too soft to roll, chill it for additional time until firm.
- For a sweeter finish, you can roll the truffles in finely crushed graham crackers or shredded coconut instead of powdered sugar.
