Description

Create a fun and festive Olaf pancake breakfast that’s perfect for kids or fans of the beloved snowman. This playful recipe combines simple pancakes with creative toppings like bacon, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and clementine slices to craft an edible Olaf from Disney’s Frozen. It’s quick to make, visually appealing, and delicious—a great way to brighten up any morning!

Ingredients

Scale

Pancake Base

  • Pancake batter (from scratch or boxed mix) – enough for 3 small pancakes

Toppings and Decorations

  • 1 slice of bacon
  • 5 chocolate chips
  • 1 large marshmallow
  • Whipped cream spray – as needed
  • 1 clementine slice

Instructions

  1. Make Pancakes: Pour your pancake batter into a pan over low heat to create 3 small pancake shapes. They don’t need to be perfect as you will trim them later. Cook until golden and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Assemble Base: Arrange the three pancakes on a plate to form Olaf’s body and head shape.
  3. Prepare Marshmallow Features: Trim the ends off the marshmallow using kitchen scissors. Cut out the teeth shapes from one end and cut out small circles for the eyes from the other end.
  4. Shape Bacon Details: Use kitchen scissors to cut the slice of bacon into strips and shapes to create Olaf’s mouth, arms, and hair pieces.
  5. Add Facial Features and Decorations: Place the chocolate chips on the pancake body as buttons and use two chocolate chips as pupils on the marshmallow eyes. Cut a small piece off the clementine slice to form Olaf’s carrot nose and place it onto the head pancake. Finish by spraying whipped cream around for snow effect.

Notes

  • Use kitchen scissors for precise shaping of marshmallow and bacon pieces.
  • Low heat is important when cooking pancakes to avoid burning and to ensure even cooking.
  • Customize the pancake size to create a bigger or smaller Olaf as desired.
  • Ensure bacon is cooked until firm but pliable for easy cutting and shaping.
  • This recipe yields one Olaf pancake breakfast ideal for a fun single serving.
