- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, toss the pineapple with granulated sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined. Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Make the topping: In another bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, and nuts. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Assemble and bake: Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the pineapple. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let it cool slightly before serving.
