For the Shrimp:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water, cook fettuccine until al dente, drain.
- Prepare the Shrimp: Sauté garlic in butter, add shrimp and cook until pink, set aside.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same pan, simmer cream, add Parmesan, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Combine: Add pasta and shrimp to the sauce, cook briefly.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
